Our MuggleNet Throwback Feature has arrived! MuggleNet is going to pull out our Time-Turner every Wednesday beginning today and take a look back into the past. This week in 2007 saw us with some tidbits of information regarding the filming and production of The Half Blood Prince.
Natalia Tena, who portrayed Nymphadora Tonks, attended the launch of “You Instead”, in which she starrs, in London which included a VIP Screening at Odeon in Camden followed by an afterparty at Camden Barfley. In addition some of the movie’s musical videos have been released via their Youtube channel.

What’s the relationship like between Tom Felton and the state of Hawaii? Pretty good we imagine. In a recent article from the Hawaii Star, Tom shares among other things, his obvious heartfelt appreciation for this 50th state. What’s more is that he combined this with his other great love – music – into an awesome music video complete with lyrics. Be sure to listen to this!
Be sure to have a look at the latest photos released by Warner Bros. portraying behind the scenes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. Some of these photographs detail cast members on the set, exterior view shots of Hogwarts and cut footage of Voldemort’s and Harry’s final duel.
Later today Daniel Radcliffe is expected to be interviewed on the Anderson Cooper show. While the specifics have not been mentioned we do expect that the two will discuss a certain project that they both crossed paths in previously along with some hopefully exciting Potter news!

This week our featured fan art of the week takes us to the exploration of a powerful moment in The Prisonder of Azkaban. “The Pause” by Dylan takes us to the very first time Harry meets Buckbeak in the Forbidden Forest. Utilizing water colours and a pronounced set of shadowing, Dylan’s portrayal of Buckbeak makes for quite the lovely piece.
This week MuggleNet’s fandom video spotlight takes us to two video created by and starring some of the biggest Potter fans. In the first, we take a look at “Potter Puppet Pals : The Vortex” which spoofs the Potter universe by portraying the effects of Harry’s inflated ego on his peers. Secondly we look at “The Black Sisters” as this delightful duo shares their opinions on the beta testing period of Pottermore. Whether they be classic videos, fan favorites or brand new to the web, the global community of Harry Potter fans has never been shy to express its enthusiasm.
