Fan Art of the Week: Goblet of Fire sculpture

Being able to see a Harry Potter prop in real life has been known to induce extreme excitement; however, when you, or a fellow fan, has created a fan art prop, the excitement just explodes. This week we have a spectacular Goblet of Fire sculpture replica that was commissioned for the Crown & Shield Hall in Salem, Massachusetts. Submitted by Carol, it was created from July to August 2013 with Styrofoam and papier machê.

Staff member’s notes: This is truly a wonderful, realistic piece. The artist was able to capture the rough and smooth texture that existed on the movie prop, all the while adding their own interpretation extremely well.
