Fraser Papers said on Friday that it has been hired to supply paper for the second printing of the U.S. edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Fraser also supplied paper for the first edition, which was published in the U.S. by Scholastic.

Fraser said it supplied Scholastic with a custom paper that contains 30% recycled content. The paper also contains pulp that has been certified for its environmental goodness by the Forest Stewardship Council.

“This is perhaps one of the ‘greenest’ papers you can get on the market today,” said Brian McAlary, vice president of sales and marketing for Fraser Papers. “The post-consumer content diverts waste from landfills, while the FSC certification ensures that the pulp was not procured from endangered or high conservation value forests.”
