Deathly Hallows rep confirms mid-February start
This morning we updated our post made yesterday about Leavesden Studios being closed (it is now open, albeit still under investigation). Now the BBC has an article about the studio being back open. They quote a representative at Warner Brothers who confirms filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows begins in just two weeks:
A spokeswoman for the production team said filming on Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows would begin later this month as planned.
“We have not begun filming yet and will not do so for another two weeks. This has always been the case,” she said.
“Filming will commence mid-February and go through to spring 2009.”
We assume the rep meant Spring 2010, as filming will run for 54 weeks as they film Parts 1 and 2 at the same time. Thanks to everyone who e-mailed in the tip!
