Transformers beats out Potter in Top 10 Box Office Movies of 2009

Yahoo! Movies has released their Top 10 Box Office Movies of 2009, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince fell short of the crown. The sixth film lost the top spot to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which grossed $402 million to Half-Blood Prince's $301.9 million.

Please note that this number is strictly domestic (for here in the United States). Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince beat out all other movies worldwide and currently holds the No. 8 spot on the All-Time Worldwide Box Office List with $925,956,980.
