Half-Blood Prince still in the running for Visual Effects at 82 Academy Awards

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced that seven films remain in the running in the Visual Effects category for the 82nd Academy Awards.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince remains in the running. On January 21, the list will be further narrowed down to three.

The nominations will be revealed on February 2 at 8:30 am ET.
