Deathly Hallows, Part 1 being test screened today in Chicago?

UPDATE (6:30 PM ET): We have still not heard from those who are at the screening, but we’ve seen reports of WB President Alan Horn and Director David Yates being at the theater where this screening is taking place.  Our own Eric Scull and Emerson Spartz are both at the screening.  We will be recording a mini MuggleCast as soon as they have their phones back to get their reactions!

We believe Warner Brothers is test screening Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 today in Chicago.

There is a mysterious test screening taking place at 2:30 PM CT today, and WB has test screened Potter films in Chicago in the past.  Typically the director and producers will be in the audience to see how moviegoers react to various scenes.  The moviegoers are then asked to take a short survey after the film.

We cannot 100% confirm at this time that it is Deathly Hallows, Part 1.  We won’t know for sure until the screening ends, because all those who attend must surrender their phones prior to the movie starting.  They are not told what film it is until everyone is seated and the phones are gone.

We’ve asked a few people who are attending the screening to share reviews with us after they’re finished watching the film.  We should have an update for you around 6 or 6:30 PM ET, which is when the film should finish being screened!

Stay tuned…
