J.K. Rowling tweets again, re-asserts that it’s her

On September 25, we told you about Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling establishing a Twitter account. Her first words explained her motivations (to rule out some impersonators) and her second words cautioned, “although I could twitter endlessly, I’m afraid you won’t be hearing from me very often……….”

Five months later, J.K. Rowling’s sixth tweet has hit the Internet. It is (word for word) a re-make of her last tweet, with the exception of the word “still” in capital letters. Full text below:

This is the real me, but you won’t be hearing from me often I’m afraid, as pen and paper are STILL my priority at the moment.

News that J.K. Rowling is writing, and writing hard, has been with us for a while but gained extra fuel last week, when on the red carpet of the BAFTA awards J.K. Rowling described working on multiple projects at once.

Could one of these projects be the mysterious Harry Potter Encyclopedia? We have a sneaking suspicion that J.K.R.’s seventh tweet (Lucky Number Seven!) may be a bit more revealing…
