“Honestly I really didn’t remember that much. I can recall vague images, vague moments of laughter, and every now and then I can hear the sound of his voice in my ear, or I can close my eyes and remember him tucking me into bed with twenty kisses as I begged him not to leave, to give me one more kiss. . . . But the images are fuzzy around the edges, the voice faraway — almost as if they’re only dreams I’m recalling.”

You can read the full story, as well as over 9,000 others, at MuggleNet Fan Fiction.

I am a 40-something Ravenclaw/Slytherin from Massachusetts. I've been lucky in life and can attribute a lot of that to Harry Potter. Without it, I wouldn't have at least 80% of the things I do today, including my career & closest friends. I truly despise Sirius Black.
