Ralph Fiennes talks ‘Potter’ at BAFTA: A Life in Pictures

BAFTA’s A Life in Pictures continues their Q&A series, this time featuring our beloved Ralph Fiennes. The actor discussed his past roles in films as well as his new directorial debut in Coriolanus. When asked about his role as the Dark Lord, Fiennes showed his comedic side by jokingly performing Avada Kedarva on the host.

We learned that Ralph started out on set designs, but soon developed a love for the stage. He was asked if he truly considered a career in film early in life, and his response was, “if you were lucky, the gods would ascend you to film.”

Also attending the event was Kenneth Branagh, who recently debuted in the role of Sir Laurence Olivier in My Week With Marilyn. Click here to read his full interview.
