Michael Gambon to Appear in Sundance Mini-Series ‘Restless’ in December

Michael Gambon – who portrayed Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter film series – is coming soon to television sets everywhere in the mini-series Restless, produced by the Sundance Channel.

Restless is a story of espionage about Eva Delectorskaya, a woman recruited by the British Secret Service to be a spy in WWII. Her career ends after a failed mission forces her into hiding, but after thirty years of living a double life, Eva wants out. Only her former spymaster, Lucas Romer (Gambon) can help her.

Billed as “an epic story of love, duplicity, and betrayal,” it sounds like it will be a fast paced few hours of television! Restless also stars Michelle Dockery, Charlotte Rampling, Hayley Atwell, and Rufus Sewell, and will air on the Sundance Channel in two parts, the first on December 7 and the second a week later, on December 14.

I've been making magic at MuggleNet since 2012, when I first joined the staff as a News intern. I've never wavered from the declaration in my childhood journal, circa October 2000: "I LOVE Harry Potter! If I clean my room, my mom says she'll make me a dinner a wizard would love!" Proud Gryffindor; don't hate.
