J.K. Rowling featured in new Edinburgh photography exhibit

Edinburgh Napier University’s photography department is moving to a new location in Merchiston, and to mark the event they are hosting an exhibition featuring work by Napier alumni, aiming to celebrate the achievements of the university and of its students. The department was based out of its Marchmont campus for 36 years, and the photographs being featured span over three decades.

The forthcoming exhibit will feature photographs documenting a dispute between local residents and businessman Donald Trump, as well as famous subjects like White Stripes singer Jack White and Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling! The photo above, which appears in the exhibit, was taken by Adam Elder.

It sounds like it will be an exciting event! Will you try to attend the exhibit once it opens?

I've been making magic at MuggleNet since 2012, when I first joined the staff as a News intern. I've never wavered from the declaration in my childhood journal, circa October 2000: "I LOVE Harry Potter! If I clean my room, my mom says she'll make me a dinner a wizard would love!" Proud Gryffindor; don't hate.
