“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” named best fantasy sequel of all time

Well done Harry Potter fans! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has officially been crowned as Best Fantasy Sequel of All Time, according to Moviefone’s Summer Sequel Smackdown 2013!

Deathly Hallows: Part 2 took down 15 other films in the fantasy genre bracket, which ran from April 29 to May 27, including sequels from the Twilight Saga, Narnia, Lord of the Rings, and the other six Harry Potter sequels. Fans had the chance to cast their votes for their favorite at every round.

After over 300,000 votes, and the final round against The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Deathly Hallows: Part 2 came out on top!
