Emma Watson wins Teen Choice Award

On Sunday, August 11, the Teen Choice Award winners were announced after more than 150 million votes were tallied. As reported last month, Emma was nominated for her role as Sam in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, along with her co-star Logan Lerman. Thanks in part to your votes, Emma was honored with the iconic Teen Choice surfboard-shaped award in the Choice Movie Actress: Drama category, The Perks of Being a Wallflower won Choice Movie: Drama, and Logan Lerman won Choice Movie Actor: Drama.

Emma also tweeted her thanks after she was announced as the winner:
