Daniel Radcliffe wins Broadway World UK Award for “The Cripple of Inishmaan”

The Broadway World UK Awards 2013 have announced their winners, and Dan was named the “Best Leading Actor in a New Production of a Play – West End” for his role as “Cripple” Billy in The Cripple of Inishmaan.

Readers of Broadway World voted on the awards through a nomination and shortlist process. The full list of winners includes other stage successes such as The Book of Mormon and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The Cripple of Inishmaan was on stage this past summer in London and was met by positive reviews from fans and theater critics alike. You can read MuggleNet’s review of the play here.
