I hopped off the train at Hogwarts School
With some dreams, robes, and a wand
Welcome to the school where wizards rule
Am I gonna fit in?

In the Great Hall, and I’m here for the first time
Look to my right and I see a Hogwarts crest
This is all so crazy
Everything seems so magic
My tummy’s turnin’ and I’m so NOT feeling homesick
So much pressure and I’m nervous
But then the Sorting Hat called out Gryffindor
And everyone clapped for me
And everyone clapped for me
And everyone clapped for me

So I put my wand up, I’m doing my thing
The Slytherins go away
Wavin’ my wand like yeah
Shootin’ some spells like yeah
I’m playing Quidditch, I’m doin’ my thing
The Slytherins are sad today
‘Cuz I’m zoomin’ around like yeah
Catching that Snitch like yeah
So there’s a party in the common room!
