Eight o’clock Friday night and I’m waiting
To finally dance with a witch a little smarter than me.
Her name’s Hermione, she’s a witch who likes to read.
I have these feelings and I’m not quite sure what they mean.

And when she waves her wand
She starts to put a spell on me.
But I’m not sure she notices me…

Cause she’s reading books
Beating up Malfoy
Dancing with Krum
Magic flowing in her eyes.

It’s like a bad nightmare
Just want to be with her over there.
Dancing with her at the Yule Ball
Instead of just watching her from over here.
But instead, I’m just sitting here
Failing miserably,
Trying to get the witch all the good guys want.

She likes to study
And I like goofing off.
Her shelves are full of books all about magic stuff.
She said she’d like to score some new kinds of spells.
And she’ll never know that she’s already put a spell over me.

Quidditch match season pass
