Wizarding World of Harry Potter celebration has exciting events for all to see

Universal Orlando has released the schedule of events for this weekend’s “A Harry Potter Celebration” event taking place at the Islands of Adventure theme park in Orlando, Florida.

This weekend promises to be full of Harry Potter goodness, with representatives on hand for an expo atmosphere along with special Q&A sessions. In attendance will be leaders from Pottermore.com; Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter; MinaLima; Paul Harris, the films’ wand choreographer; Kazu Kibuishi, artist of the latest Harry Potter book covers for Scholastic; and Harry Potter – The Exhibition. Additionally, cast members from the Harry Potter films Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, James and Oliver Phelps, and Mark Williams are confirmed at this time.

January 25:

  • 9:00 AM–7:00 PM: Harry Potter expo open, Universal Studios Florida, Soundstage 33
  • 10:00 AM–10:45 AM: “My Life on a Film Set: Talent Q&A,” Islands of Adventure, Toon Amphitheater
  • 11:30 AM–12:15 PM: Go behind the scenes of Pottermore.com, Islands of Adventure, Toon Amphitheater
  • 2:00 PM–2:45 PM: “My Life on a Film Set: Talent Q&As,” Islands of Adventure, Toon Amphitheater
  • 3:30 PM–4:15 PM: Dueling demonstration & wand combat masterclass, Islands of Adventure, Toon Amphitheater

January 26:

  • 10:00 AM–10:45 AM: “Bringing the Harry Potter Films to the Theme Park,” Set and prop design of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Islands of Adventure, Toon Amphitheater
  • 11:30 AM–12:15 PM: Dueling demonstration & wand combat masterclass, Islands of Adventure, Toon Amphitheater
  • 2:00 PM–2:45 PM: “Graphic Design of the Harry Potter Films” with MinaLima, Islands of Adventure, Toon Amphitheater
  • 3:30 PM–4:15 PM: “My Life on a Film Set: Talent Q&As,” Islands of Adventure, Toon Amphitheater
