In Le Week-End, Jim Broadbent (who played Professor Slughorn in the Harry Potter series) and Lindsay Duncan play a long-married British couple spending a weekend in Paris, where they spent their honeymoon 30 years earlier. The trip allows them to rejuvenate their marriage and confront its instabilities. The film also stars Jeff Goldblum as their “simultaneously charming and obnoxious” friend.
