Weasley is our king! Mark Williams attends charity May Day event

The Cotswold Journal has reported that this past Sunday, May 3, Mark Williams (who played the Arthur Weasley in the Potter films) appeared at Blockley’s May Day event.  Williams was dressed quite eccentrically, wearing a crown and Superman boxers while he presented the prizes for the princess and superhero-themed fancy dress competition.

The event raised over £2,700 for the local charities and clubs.  Pam Merritt, a Blockley Shop Community Association member, spoke about the event, saying,

Every group in the village needs to raise money; it was a good place to do it. It was nice to see Mark Williams again. He rose to the challenge of judging the little ones.
