Warwick Davis accepts check from students

Cottingham Church of England Primary School recently had a magical visit from Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick and Griphook), after donating money to Warwick’s charity of choice, Little People UK. Warwick is the chairman of LPUK and told the school he would be happy to accept the check of £137 (about $231) in person. Warwick said,

As patron of Little People UK, I would like to thank Cottingham Primary School for their amazing fundraising work.
I am delighted that LPUK were chosen as a beneficiary, and I know the money raised will go a long way to helping people with dwarfism.

Warwick stayed at the school after the check presentation to speak about his career to the students, including Elliot Dee, who proposed donating to this charity. Elliot, age eight, wanted to donate to LPUK because his brother Bruce, age seven, has achondroplasia, a restrictive growth condition.

The school also donated to two other charities, Spurgeons and Rainbows Hospice, both organizations for children. Each organization received checks of £137 as well.
