First look at “Pixels”, directed by Chris Columbus; plus, fans at Comic-Con can win a walk-on role!

We reported back in March that Chris Columbus was going to direct Pixels, a movie adaptation of a short film about video game characters attacking New York. And this past Thursday, the Sony Pictures’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con played a very special video in which Columbus offers fans at the event a chance to win a walk-on role in the film.

To enter fans have to head to the Electric Dreams Arcade at the Hard Rock Hotel. Sony also released a video for the arcade, which features Peter Dinklage in character.

Pixels starts Peter Dinklage, Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Michelle Monaghan, Josh Gad, and Brian Cox. It hits theaters on May 15, 2015. Ckeck out a still from the film below:
