Bonnie Wright visits Chengdu, learns how to play mahjong, and hangs out with a panda!

This past week, Bonnie Wright, best known as the strong and beautiful Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter series, visited Chengdu. Chengdu is the capital of the Sichuan Province in the People’s Republic of China. Bonnie was reportedly invited by the Tourism Department of Chengdu Municipality and Chengdu Culture & Development Group.

During her visit, Bonnie toured the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where she got to hang out with an adorable panda cub! She also enjoyed a Chinese kung fu tea ceremony, learned to play mahjong, and learned how to make mapo tofu, a famous Sichuan food dish. Bonnie greatly enjoyed her trip; reportedly,

Wright said that the trip left a deep impression on her, and she especially loved the Chinese kung fu tea ceremony, ear cleaning and mahjong.
