Ralph Fiennes nominated for “Two Women”, returns to “James Bond”
It’s only the beginning of December, and already Ralph Fiennes has had a busy month!
On December 3, Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort) was announced as a nominee for Russia’s Golden Eagle Award for Best Actor, presented by the National Academy of the Motion Pictures and Sciences in Russia. Fiennes is nominated for his role in Vera Glagoleva’s movie Two Women, an adaptation of Ivan Turgenev’s 19th-century novella A Month in the Country. The movie centers around two women, a mother and her step-daughter, who fall in love with the same man. As we previously reported, the movie, as well as its soundtrack and production, had already gained recognition and won awards before the official release.

In addition to this honor, it was also announced that Fiennes would be reprising his role as Gareth Mallory in the newest Bond movie, Spectre. The role of Mallory will carry over as the replacement of M after the death of Dame Judi Dench’s character. According to interviews about the plot at the release,
While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre.
The movie is set to come out in the UK on October 23, 2015, and in the US on November 6, 2015.
