Social Roundup: Halloween Edition

by Claire Furner · Published November 1, 2015 · Updated October 16, 2017

Halloween finally took place on a Saturday which meant for once most of us weren’t scrambling from work or school to putting together our costume. With this in mind we took a special look at everything related to the festivities plus more!

There was this rather fancy number from Daniel Radcliffe that we’re certain can be recycled for the next Comic Con.

Plus this adorable Disney themed duo from Emma Watson.

Warwick Davis weighed in on some classic pumpkin carvings.

The results of #Pumpkin carving… strangely, each one seems to convey the artist's personality. pic.twitter.com/f88CSAeBTj

Natalia Tena provided a novel way to put together a last minute costume.

And Chris Rankin couldn’t quite decide between watching the rugby finals and putting together his costume…

…but from the end result, who could tell?

In non-Halloween related news there were some other pretty memorable moments. Both James and Oliver Phelps slipped the nip to raise awareness of male breast cancer.

Also doing their charitable bit was Evanna Lynch who debuted her World Animal Protection t-shirt.

Meanwhile Katie Leung attended dinner at Buckingham Palace. Score!

Me? Not much. Just back from dinner. Oh you know, Buckingham Palace. With Her Majesty the Queen. No biggie. Noooop.

And Tom Felton left us with some gorgeous shots of his current trip to South Africa.

Quotes

  • “My brothers, my sisters. The clock is ticking faster. We who live for freedom, for truth, and for love. The moment has come to share my vision of the future that awaits if we do not rise up and take our rightful place in the world. Where we wizards are free. Aurors, join me in this circle, pledge to me your eternal allegiance, or die.”
