Dobby the Daring House-Elf

to the tune of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” by Gene Autry

Dobby the daring house-elf
Had some very ragged clothes.
And if you ever saw him,
He’d disappear right under your nose.

Lucius, Narcissa, and Draco
Used to taunt and threaten him.
They never gave poor Dobby
Equitable working conditions.

Then one sunny Hogwarts day,
Harry came to say,
“Dobby, with your soul so kind,
Won’t you take my sock today?”

Then all the house-elves hated him
As he shouted out with glee.
“Dobby the daring house-elf,
We don’t all want to be free!”
