“Harry Potter: The Exhibition” Adds Stops, Extends World Tour to 2020

If you’ve had a chance to visit Harry Potter: The Exhibition on one of its many stops, you know what an amazing experience it can be. For those who are unable to make the journey to the Studio Tour in London, the Exhibition is one of their only chances to see props and costumes from the Harry Potter films. Now, Warner Bros. and Global Experience Specialists (GES – the company that executes the tour) have announced that the Exhibition, which has seen stops in New York, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, and more, will extend its world tour until spring 2020!

Harry Potter: The Exhibition is currently on display in Shanghai, and it has been revealed today that several more stops will be added to the tour after its run in Shanghai ends. We do not yet know which new cities the Exhibition will be visiting, but with an additional four years of traveling time, many more fans are going to have the opportunity to experience this truly remarkable exhibit.

Robin Stapley, VP of GES Entertainment, has said of the extension,

We are thrilled to extend the exhibition’s tour with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Harry Potter: The Exhibition has excited fans for the past seven years, and we are so pleased to continue the magic.

I've been making magic at MuggleNet since 2012, when I first joined the staff as a News intern. I've never wavered from the declaration in my childhood journal, circa October 2000: "I LOVE Harry Potter! If I clean my room, my mom says she'll make me a dinner a wizard would love!" Proud Gryffindor; don't hate.
