Social Media Roundup: Happee Birthdae Harry, Neville, Noma, and J.K.!

July is a magical month in more ways than one, but the end of the month really has something to celebrate. Not one, not two, but FOUR special birthdays all take place between July 28 and 31.

Starting off the celebrations, the one and only Noma Dumezweni (Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) celebrated her birthday on July 28, and fellow cast members and other Potter almuni were quick to wish her well.

 

 

 

It’s easy to see just how loved Ms. Dumezweni is. Happy belated birthday, Noma! We hope it was swell.

Next up, the boy who was brave enough to stand up not only to his friends but also to Voldemort himself when he *spoiler alert?* cut off Nagini’s head during the Battle of Hogwarts, thus destroying the last Horcrux – Neville Longbottom celebrated his birthday on July 30!

Fans and other Potter organizations around the world took to Twitter to celebrate the hero.

 

 

And finally, the day that is twice as happy – July 31 is the birthday of not only the queen, J.K. Rowling, but also the boy who lived himself. July 31 is a special day in Potter history, and many people around the globe celebrated, including some familiar faces!
