French Netflix to Acquire All Eight “Potter” Films

Earlier this week, Netflix in France updated its Twitter status with a tantalizing blank video that just played the infamous “Hedwig’s Theme.” Teasing French Harry Potter fans with the status “it’s magic,” the movie-streaming platform announced that all eight Potter films would be available to binge-watch starting November 1.

 

 

Even though Netflix is an international company, no other countries in which Netflix is available has made any similar announcement. As perplexing as this is, we cannot help but feel that Harry Potter must be on its way to other Netflix regions as well. Perhaps France is getting the films first in the spirit of hosting the world premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald in Paris on November 8?

If all Harry Potter films were available on Netflix, which one would you watch first? We would have Potter streaming all day, every day, on one continuous magical loop. (Even if it takes almost 20 hours to complete that loop!) We hope the films are available in other countries soon.
