Noma Dumezweni Is the Next “Potter” Star to Read for Harry Potter at Home

Were you delighted when Daniel Radcliffe read us Chapter 1 of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone? Noma Dumezweni, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child‘s Hermione, is bringing us the next installment in Harry Potter at Home‘s star-studded read-through of the first Potter book.

Dumezweni picks up where Radcliffe left off with “The Vanishing Glass.” A video of her reading is available on the Wizarding World website, or you can listen to the audio version on Spotify.

The Cursed Child actor was delighted to join the project.

Now at home with her daughter during this pause period, Noma said helping to read the first Harry Potter book felt like such a generous thing to be a part of. ‘Being told a story one loves is always a pleasure,’ she said. ‘And being allocated chapters not knowing who else would be involved feels like a lovely game! I’m very happy with mine, how could you not be?’
