Turn Your Home into the Great Hall with “Harry Potter”-Inspired Pumpkin Stencils

You’ve entered the Great Hall on Halloween, and the ceiling has you mesmerized with hundreds of jack-o’-lantern carvings against the night sky. The aroma of a decadent feast greets you, and there’s enough candy around to stock Honeydukes for a month. For a lot of Harry Potter fans, it’s been our dream to experience Hogwarts around this spooky time. Luckily for us, we can bring some of that Halloween magic to our homes with special Harry Potter-inspired stencils for all our pumpkin carving needs.

Pumpkin Freak, a talented artist in the United Kingdom, has teamed up with Wizarding World to celebrate 20 years since the release of the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone film with special designs and stencils for fans to use this year. Are you up for the challenge of carving the Hogwarts crest?

The crest design is for experienced carvers. Sometimes simple is best, so there’s an option for us who aren’t too savvy with sharp tools.

Both of these designs are spooktacular. You can choose your favorite stencil, follow along with a step-by-step guide, watch a tutorial video, or use your magic to create the perfect carving.

Pumpkin Freak’s Instagram page features all of their magical works – including the uninvited guest who made an appearance on Halloween in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

We can’t wait to transform our houses into the Great Hall this week with Halloween quickly approaching. Have you used a Harry Potter-inspired design for your pumpkin carvings before? Let us know, and show off your art in the comments!
