Book Your Tickets to Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a Magical Way

The rest of us might be in the festive spirit currently, but at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, the thoughts are already shifting to romance. We’ve seen plenty of magically romantic dining experiences in the past, but next year, you’ll be able to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a meal in the Great Hall of Hogwarts!

To start off the night, you’ll be given a “Love Potion” cocktail to get you in the mood. Alongside the potion, you’ll also get canapés and other welcome drinks. Afterward, guests will be taken away to experience the magic of the Great Hall, with a three-course meal featuring a dessert to share and a complimentary photo of you and your loved one sitting at your table. Once you’ve finished eating, you can walk the streets of the wizarding world with an after-hours pass to the tour. You’ll be able to wander through the forest on a romantic walk or meander down the cobbled streets of Diagon Alley. Once you’ve completed the tour, your final memento of the occasion will be your choice of wand to take home with you.

Valentine's Day dinner in Hogwarts's Great Hall

The night’s menu features options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans, with a choice between a Scotch egg and compressed watermelon for starter and a decision between beef sirloin or mushroom pithivier for your main meal. For vegan witches and wizards, dessert will be a chocolate delice, while other guests will be served an assiette of desserts, including a red velvet cheesecake and a strawberry tart. You’ll also be able to share a butterbeer at the Backlot Café as you make your way through the studio and enjoy petit fours as you overlook the marvelous sculpture of Hogwarts at the end of the tour.

Tickets for the event will go on sale at 10 a.m. GMT on Tuesday, December 14, for Harry Potter Fan Club Gold members and two days later for the general public. Your ticket, which costs £495, will buy you a table for two at the event. There are three dates available: February 11, 12, and 13. The dinner starts at 7 p.m. and will end at midnight, and you must be over 18 to attend.

Will you be attending a romantic dinner in the Great Hall with your partner next year? Let us know in the comments how you’ll be spending Valentine’s Day!
