“SpeakBeasty” Episode 140: “My Own Private Bonsai”

In this episode of SpeakBeasty, hosts Amy, Geoff, Marjolaine, and Shannen discuss which characters are confirmed to have scenes together in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

Weeding through interviews, fan tweets, and livestreams, our hosts pieced together a list of confirmed interactions between characters in the third Fantastic Beasts installment. For example, we know Jacob and Grindelwald have a scene together from comments made by Dan Fogler during a YouTube livestream event. In fact, we love Dan because he seems to always be sliding us nuggets of information in interviews and on his podcast.

Our hosts discuss why they think Eulalie Hicks will get her moments to shine in this film based on confirmed scenes with much of the main cast. Meanwhile, the knowledge that Newt and Grindelwald duel is a bit concerning. We can’t have our Newt harmed!

In the “Phoenix Register” this episode, we have confirmation that the Epic Universe theme park at Universal Orlando will include a Fantastic Beasts–themed section, and our “Owl Post” brings listener comments about what Newt could possibly be getting up to in Bhutan.

Since I spent too much time worrying about the correct way to write this bio, this is all I was able to come up with before the deadline.
