“Harry Potter: Magic Awakened” Announces Collaboration with “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore”
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened has announced that it will be collaborating with Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore in celebration of the new film.
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is an immersive collectible card game (CCG) and massively multiplayer online (MMO) game featuring role-play elements where players can navigate through the wizarding world. They will join their Hogwarts Houses in a Sorting Ceremony and take on their roles as first-year students. They will be able to explore Diagon Alley and the Forbidden Forest, duel in real-time matches, play Quidditch, and solve mysteries at Hogwarts.
The game is available for preregistration on the Magic Awakened website or Google Play and is coming soon to the Apple App Store. Those who preregister will be awarded a special Fantastic Beasts card pack inspired by a couple of the beasts from Secrets of Dumbledore when the game launches worldwide.
The announcement reveals that both the well-loved Niffler and the baby manticore will be a part of this card pack. Nifflers are fluffy black creatures with long snouts used to burrow in the dirt. They have a strong attraction to shiny objects, which could be helpful to players in this game. Baby manticores, on the other hand, have been described as having a sweet disposition despite their adult form being incredibly dangerous. It will be interesting to see how players can engage with this creature in the game.
