HBO’s “Harry Potter”: The Burrow Fills Up as More Weasleys Are Cast and Filming Continues in London
The Weasley family is finally coming together for HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series, and fans couldn’t be more excited. HBO has now confirmed the casting of Fred, George, Percy, and Ginny Weasley, filling out the set of siblings who will bring the warmth, chaos, and heart of the Burrow to life on screen.
Tristan Harland and Gabriel Harland, real-life twins, will take on the roles of Fred and George, Ruari Spooner has been cast as Percy, and Gracie Cochrane will play Ginny. The Instagram post also confirms that casting for Charlie Weasley is forthcoming.

This announcement builds on earlier casting news for the Weasley household, with Alastair Stout already confirmed as Ron and Katherine Parkinson set to portray Molly Weasley. Bill, Charlie, and Arthur Weasley are still yet to be cast.
In other news, with production already in full swing, more filming has been spotted on location in London. Photos and video have surfaced (see all photos at the Daily Mail) showing Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, dressed in a collared sweater, round glasses, and a backpack. He’s walking through what appears to be one of his first big moments in the wizarding world. He is joined by Nick Frost in full costume as Hagrid, complete with a towering frame, wild hair, and layered clothing, perhaps escorting Harry into Diagon Alley.

Some of the Dursleys’ scenes were spotted being filmed back in July, and it’s clear from the images that the show is leaning into a 1990s aesthetic, keeping faithful to the original setting of the books. From wardrobe to cars, the creative team seems intent on grounding the series in the period when Harry’s story first unfolded – a detail longtime fans are sure to appreciate.
For many fans, the Weasleys are the heart of the Harry Potter universe, offering a sense of home, belonging, and unconditional love that contrasts with Harry’s difficult upbringing. It feels like the pieces are falling into place for a magical revival that will honor the original story while offering new layers for the audience.
