Webster University Quidditch Team Hosts First Tournament

The Webster University Quidditch Team formed five years ago, in August of 2010. Since then, it has hosted events such as Yule Balls and a Harry Potter trivia night.

This past weekend, the team hosted its first ever Muggle Quidditch tournament. The Wizards of Westwood from William Woods University and Westminster College and Saluki Quidditch from Southern Illinois University (SIU) joined the hosts for the tournament. Webster University went undefeated, beating SIU in the final round, 190*-20.

Although the Webster Quidditch team has been around for five years, 2015 is the first year it is recognized as an official team in US Quidditch. Watch the team’s welcome video below!
