by Sophie Reid · July 4, 2016

For the first time, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter will be opening its doors to visitors in time for breakfast with a very special event. Breakfast at Hogwarts, which will take place on Sunday, August 21 and 28, 2016, will allow visitors to enjoy a special breakfast in front of the Hogwarts model and access to the tour itself, including a special photograph in the Great Hall, before the day’s visitors arrive.

Here’s some more about what guests can expect to enjoy.

Tickets include a choice of bucks fizz, tea, coffee, juice and smoothies as well as breakfast canapés at the Hogwarts [C]astle model, a souvenir photograph in the Great Hall, a tankard of [b]utterbeer in the backlot café, the chance to explore the Studio Tour before the public, a souvenir guidebook and a free return shuttle bus to Watford Junction. A free cloakroom is also available.

The press release for the event reveals further details.

After breakfast, guests will be given early access to the Studio Tour, where the Great Hall will be specially dressed for breakfast as it was in the magical film series right down to the boxes of Pixie Puffs and Cheeri Owls on the trestle tables. Guests will be joined in the Great Hall by staff members dressed in full Hogwarts’ [sic] uniforms for a complimentary souvenir photograph at the breakfast table.

Make sure to check out the full breakfast menu, which includes everything from sausages and hash browns to yogurt and fresh fruit! The set menu, as well as more details about the event, including an itinerary for the morning, can be viewed here. Tickets will be available to buy from July 6 via the website and are priced at £95 for adults and £75 for children.

Breakfast at Hogwarts

Harry Potter fans of all ages can enjoy a magical Sunday morning this summer as Warner Bros. Studio Tour London launches ‘Breakfast at Hogwarts’. Guests will be invited to watch dawn break over the Hogwarts castle model while enjoying an exclusive breakfast reception. The iconic castle took a team of 40 people seven months to build from scratch with over 300 fibre optic lights installed to simulate lanterns and torches.

After breakfast, guests will be given early access to the Studio Tour where the Great Hall will be specially dressed for breakfast as it was in the magical film series right down to the boxes of Pixie Puffs and Cheeri Owls on the trestle tables. Guests will be joined in the Great Hall by staff members dressed in full Hogwarts’ uniforms for a complimentary souvenir photograph at the breakfast table.

Guests are then invited to walk among the authentic sets and discover the behind the scenes secrets at the studios where it all began, ahead of the first tour of the day. Highlights include theGryffindor common room, Dumbledore's office, the Weasley kitchen at The Burrow and the iconicPlatform 9 ¾ that houses the original Hogwarts Express locomotive.

Following a complimentary tankard of Butterbeer in the Backlot Café, guests will be able to step inside Harry Potter’s childhood home, number four Privet Drive, before wandering up the wizarding shopping street of Diagon Alley.

The visit concludes in the Studio Tour's lobby where a complimentary souvenir guidebook can be collected.
