“Cursed Child” Breaks Pre-Order Records

Amazon and Barnes & Noble have announced that the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – Parts 1 & 2 script has broken their records for the top best-sellers list.

Both book distributers [sic] have announced the upcoming script of the play, written by Jack Thorne, not J.K. Rowling, has topped their best sellers lists.

Barnes & Noble reports that the latest addition to the [w]izarding [w]orld is the most pre-ordered book since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in 2007.

The play officially opens on July 30 with the script released internationally on July 31.
