Watch the New, Longer US Trailer for the “Love Actually” Sequel

While British Love Actually fans have already fallen in love with Red Nose Day Actually, which aired in the UK in March, American fans have been patiently waiting their turn to see the short-film sequel to the 2003 instant classic.

Sadly, the sequel has no update on two of our favorite characters, Karen and Harry, played by Potter stars Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman. As Thompson explained earlier this year, it would be too sad to write anything about their characters after Rickman’s passing, and the charity special is meant to be cheerful.

We do, however, get to see their fellow Potter actor Bill Nighy as rock star Billy Mack. In the trailer, he is still giving interviews about his sexual encounters with the hottest celebrities.

Get a sneak peek below at what almost all the characters are up to after 14 years.

The 10-minute short film will air on NBC on May 25, as part of the Red Nose Day Special, which airs at 10:00 p.m.

Red Nose Day raises awareness and money for children in the poorest communities domestically and around the world. According to the charity’s website, It has already raised upward of $1 billion in the last 25 years, and this year, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will match every dollar raised through Facebook up to $1 million.

Are you excited for Red Nose Day Actually? Or if you’ve already seen it, what did you think? (No spoilers!)
