Wizarding World Actors Read Childhood Stories for #SaveWithStories Campaign

Save the Children and No Kid Hungry have partnered together to launch the #SaveWithStories campaign, offering stories on Instagram and Facebook to provide fun and education to kids and parents stuck at home during the coronavirus outbreak. Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams introduced the campaign and explained its aim in an Instagram video:

30 million children rely on school for food, and with school closures across the country, these children are extra vulnerable. We had an idea. We’re going to read you books. Here’s why: Save the Children and No Kid Hungry are on the ground, serving children who need our help more than ever. They’ve set up a fund to directly address the food shortage and educational needs of kids affected by COVID-19. All you have to do is watch our stories, and please consider donating.

In true Hufflepuff spirit, three Wizarding World actors (and one well-known actor in the fandom) have pitched in to the charitable effort!

First up, David Tennant, who portrays Barty Crouch, Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, read The Highway Rat by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Next, Jude Law (Albus Dumbledore, Fantastic Beasts) read Javier Sáez Castán’s The Three Hedgehogs. He chose this story because he used to read it to his children when they were young.
