Ten “Harry Potter” Products Found While Going Down the Online Shopping Rabbit Hole

by Amy Hogan · May 15, 2020

I don’t know about anyone else, but I often find myself scrolling through online shopping sites when I’m either bored or stressed out. It turns out, I’ve been a little of both lately. As a result, my online shopping cart has been filled and emptied again when I come to my senses.

I may have exercised a little self-control for now, but a bunch of Harry Potter items have now been moved over to my wishlist for another day. Here are ten of the most tempting Potter products I found on my trip down the online shopping rabbit hole.

1. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Book Cover Tote Bag

This tote bag from Out of Print features the classic Mary GrandPré illustration from the cover of the third Harry Potter book. Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite book in the series, so I’m a little bit partial to this particular bag, but Out of Print does have the other book covers on totes as well.

2. Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes Mini Backpack

Are you sensing a theme here? Continuing on with the love for bags, this Loungefly mini backpack features symbols and product names from the Weasley twins’ joke shop. It’s the perfect bag for a day at any of the Wizarding World theme parks.

3. “Happiness Can Be Found Even in the Darkest of Times” Bangle

One of the most poignant quotes from the Harry Potter films, this bangle from Alex and Ani is a nice little reminder around your wrist. Keep your chin up and look for the light in dismal situations.

4. Dumbledore Quote Candle

Insight Editions sells a candle with that same quote on the glass holder. The words of wisdom from Dumbledore are practically made for being printed on a candle. You can literally turn on the light in the darkest of times with this luminary.

5. Diagon Alley 3D Puzzle Set

I was searching for something to keep me busy and came across these 3D puzzles of different wizarding world locations. There are several of Diagon Alley shops. They’re sold separately or together in a set. The locations include Ollivander’s and Scribbulus, Florean Fortesque’s and Madam Malkin’s, Quality Quidditch Supplies and Slug and Jiggers, and Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes and The Daily Prophet.

6. Magical Photo Printer

This portable photo printer and the Lifeprint App that goes with it allow you to create Wizarding World-inspired moving pictures! The product description says you can print videos from your phone, and the movement is embedded within the print. When you hold your phone over the photo with the Lifeprint App open, it reveals the movements.

7. Hogwarts Castle Bookends

These Hogwarts bookends are perfect for displaying your Potter book collection. The bookends are made out of metal with cutouts in the shape of the castle’s silhouette.
