Things Are Heating Up in “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery”
New adventures are waiting to be completed in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Whether you’re pushing through Year 7 at Hogwarts, helping out some friends, or playing Quidditch, there’s plenty to catch up on in-game.
The new August Magical Milestones event is now active. This Bright ‘n’ Sunny outfit gives off summer vibes but also has us thinking of the autumn season that’s right around the corner. How perfect would this outfit be for a date in the pumpkin patch?
August Magical Milestones: Bright ‘n’ Sunny outfit
Now that we have the perfect outfit to work for, it’s time to unload the latest chapters in-game. We were tasked to sneak into a certain witch’s office and snoop through some files in our last update. Given the troublemaker we can be, we were up to the challenge. Tea with Dolores Umbridge is anything but fun, but we gleaned enough information to keep Rita Skeeter at bay and are determined to find answers. After a hefty duel, our characters didn’t get the answers we were searching for and seek out Mad-Eye Moody while trying to tend to a friend who was caught in the fray.
Chapter 15 of Year 7 begins with us telling Moody everything that happened in Knockturn Alley. Luckily for us, Penny and Professor Snape have been hard at work at creating a counter-serum to a memory-erasing potion masquerading as Luscious Locks Solution that wreaked havoc across Diagon Alley. After distributing the counter-serum to everyone affected, our characters are feeling a little better about the events that have transpired. The chapter ends with us questioning friendships and meeting the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge. We also find ourselves facing something that we would rather leave in the past. How are you feeling about the upcoming events for your character?

Perhaps completing a few Quidditch friendlies will take your character’s mind off of trying to save the wizarding world with a new chapter to complete. In the previous chapter, we convinced Madam Hooch that rival teams can cooperate without destroying each other. Training seems to be top of mind for all involved, but what’s the best way to nurture our bodies to be the best at Quidditch? It seems like everyone has a different idea, so hopefully, our characters can find the right balance.
If you’re still wanting to keep Quidditch top of mind, there’s a new side quest available to boost your attribute scores. Murphy has been told that his Quidditch commentary is repetitive and boring. We believe there’s a 99.9% chance we’re going to coach Murphy into being the best Quidditch commentator ever.

We’ve been doing extra classes and study sessions with friends for a chance to earn some Chocolate Frog cards, and there’s still about a week left to get in on completing your collection. These last few chapters have kept us all busy. How are you feeling about getting closer to the end of Year 7?
