“SpeakBeasty” Episode 167: “The Most Magical Anniversary”
Let us blow out the candles – SpeakBeasty is seven years old! Our actual anniversary was on December 20, but our regular episode release schedule happens to fall today, so what better way to celebrate than to take a trip down memory lane on this very special Christmas episode?
When SpeakBeasty launched in 2015, we were the only podcast dedicated solely to the discussion of the Fantastic Beasts series. Now, 167 episodes later, we’re still finding new things to talk about!
While this podcast has grown and gone through changes, so have the hosts. A lot can happen in seven years. Not only have our hosts been there through movie announcements, trailer drops, premieres, and film releases, but they’ve also marked many milestones over the span of the podcast, such as college graduations and weddings.
In this special episode, our hosts reflect on their favorite memories from the podcast. While everyone has a different story to tell, the common thread that runs through all of these recollections is the impact that friendship and community can have on a life. Shannen has said it before, and we’ll say it again: “The real fantastic beasts are the friends we found along the way.”
