Emma Watson: the ultimate 50’s starlet

Jill Taylor, costume designer for the Golden Globe nominated film My Week with Marilyn, revealed that Emma was the true fifties starlet on the set. Praised for her petite figure and style stole the spotlight from Michelle Williams – the actress who portrays Marilyn Monroe – while she was on the set.

Miss Taylor stated, “We got her the day before she filmed, I had her for a couple of hours and we fitted her at Eton school. We were filming there. All the costumes were vintage, nothing was made from scratch for Emma and she was just tiny enough that she could wear these clothes. A lot of them were very tiny – she is an original 1950’s star.”
