“Deathly Hallows – Part 2” hit top spot for 2011 DVD sales in UK

According to a new report by the Guardian, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 takes home the number one spot for highest DVD sales in UK for 2011. In fact, British hits dominated the top 10 selling DVD titles for 2011, which includes Deathly Hallows – Parts 1 and 2, followed by The Inbetweeners Movie and The King’s Speech.

Chairman of the British Video Association, Charlie McAuley, stated, “In a challenging economic environment it’s really encouraging to see people continuing to spend their hard-earned cash on the best of our films, television, children’s, sport and music and other great video entertainment.”
