The Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770 has announced that David Heyman, the producer of all eight Harry Potter movies, is to receive the 2014 Order of the Golden Sphinx award. David, who recently won a BAFTA, will receive the prestigious award at the annual Order of the Golden Sphinx Gala. Congratulations to David! A very well-deserved award!

The British Academy of Film and Television Awards took place last night, and Gravity walked away with six of the awards. The film, directed and produced by Alfonso Cuarón and David Heyman, won the most awards of the night and in some of the most competitive categories including Outstanding British Film.
