Potter fans were utterly shaken up last week when news outlets began reporting that J.K. Rowling had questioned whether she made the right decision of wedding Ron and Hermione. Here at MuggleNet we waited to make an official statement until we could read what Rowling really meant , and as we predicted her statements were grossly exaggerated. Still, many of us here on staff couldn’t help but start forming our own opinions – should Ron and Hermione have ended up together? Read some of our most senior staff’s thoughts on the situation here.
The Sunday Times is today reporting that in an unexpected move J.K. Rowling has reversed her thoughts on a particularly sensitive Potter issue that recently sent waves across the fandom. The story has arisen from an interview between Jo and Emma Watson in this month’s Wonderland magazine. The quotes provided by the Times, however, detail more about Jo’s writing choices than the disputed topic at hand.
