As an ambassador for UNICEF Ireland, Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) paid a visit last week to Tacloban, a city hit hard by Typhoon Haiyan in November. With UNICEF, Evanna was able to see firsthand the destruction that was caused and meet some of the children affected.
Evanna Lynch attended We Day in California this week. Earlier this month, she attended the London event, which we reported on here. At the event, Evanna spoke to 16,000 students who had earned the privilege to be there through their hard work. Other stars speaking or performing at the event included Orlando Bloom and Seth Rogan.

This March, We Day will be hosting its first ever UK event in London. We Day is of course a movement comprised of thousands of youths who are helping make a global change. A whole host of guests and acts have been announced, and Harry Potter’s very own Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) is among the numerous other stars an starlets that will also be in attendance.
Since today is Internet Safety Day, Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) has spoken about her own experiences with cyber bullies in a piece for the Irish Independent. Evanna reflects on both the negativity and positivity she has experienced online. She also elaborates on the significance of Twitter in allowing her to overcome previous concerns and fears.
Evanna Lynch recently visited her alma mater to launch an anthology of work by students from the Centre For Talented Youth, Ireland at Dublin City University. The anthology is titled Words to Tie to Bricks and features several short stories written by students between ages fourteen and seventeen.
“Houdini” the play follows the lives of Harry and Theo Houdini as they attempt to make a name for themselves in the world of magic and illusion. Starting shortly before Harry meets his wife, Bess, the audience is taken on a whistle stop tour of Harry’s rise to the top whilst Theo is left to struggle on in his shadow.
