What do you think? Does this look it’s worth adding to your collection? One’s thing’s for sure – it certainly is a beautiful book!

In further Harry Potter design news, you may remember that in our original post about Harry Potter: The Creature Vault, we mentioned that two more volumes about Potter would be released in 2015 – now we have the name of at least one of them!

Harry Potter: The Book of Magical Places will be released in May of 2015. There’s little information currently available on the Harper Collins site, but we’ll let you know when there’s more!

It’s also worth mentioning that it was originally believed that the two 2015 volumes would be about characters and spells. With the announcement that the May volume will be about places, we have no idea what’s coming next!

  • This volume is an expansion of Jody Revenson’s faux-leather, green-bound book ‘The Creature Shop Compendium: Flora and Fauna From the Harry Potter Films’ (based off of the movie) from the ‘Harry Potter Page to Screen: The Complete Filmmaking Journey [Collector’s Edition] book set release from 2012. The book is newly bounded and now purple (the two will look great next to each other on the shelf). The book is now titled ‘Harry Potter: The Creature Vault: The Creatures and Plants of the Harry Potter Films’. This edition has more pages and will come with a removable poster and an interactive Eeylops Owl Emporium catalog.
