This week, our quidditch round-up includes:

Boston University wins Memorial: Four (4) teams competed in the 2nd Annual Lily and James Potter Memorial Tournament last weekend including: Boston University, Emerson College, UMass Amherst, and Westfield State University. Boston took home the crown in an exciting Final match against Emerson with a 40-30 victory. For all of the scores from the event, go right here.

First Canadian Cup: Canadian teams are gearing up to compete in Canada's first quidditch tournament for the rights to be named Canada's Best. The tournament will be held on Saturday, October 29th at Carelton University in Ottawa. For all of the Upcoming Events, click right here.

Summit Tournament: The Northern Arizona University Narwhals will be hosting their first tournament this weekend against the Arizona Sun Devils and Arizona Thunderbirds. The tournament will have live video and audio streaming and will be broadcasted on the local on-campus KJAK 1680AM radio station. For all of the Quidditch news, click right here.

Syracuse hosts Halloween Tournament: Syracuse University will be hosting a tournament with SUNY Cortland and Ive's Pond Quidditch teams this Sunday, October 30th at the Syracuse Women's Building Field. The players will all be in full Halloween costumes and we will try to get some photos next week. This should be fun for all.

Reminder: The Fifth Annual Quidditch World Cup is in its final preparations and we will be announcing some major news relating to special events being scheduled for the weekend very soon. If you have not finalized your traveling arrangements for the QWC, be sure to contact AAGT immediately as rooms are filling up fast. The IQA is expecting around 30,000 fans in attendance and we are expecting 200,000 viewers via the MuggleNet Live Broadcast, which will be seen right here.

MuggleNet will have full staff in attendance and we hope to see you around the pitch, in the SnitchCenter tent, or in the Vendor area during the weekend.
